Way too much of it in my head.
I've figured out a lot of stuff.
And one of those things i've figured out -
is that thinking can't fix everything.
There seem to be times that doing is what is called for.
And maybe just doing can help with the noise....
I could not agree more.
ReplyDeleteSometimes for me thinking just makes it worse. Doing seems to help much more.

If you're anything like me, you think way to much lol! I find 'doing' helps a lot :)
ReplyDeleteOnce I've analysed it to death of course!

I have so much noise in my head, it keeps me up at night.
ReplyDeleteI can see how cutting down the mental chatter could be a very good thing.
Never thought of doing as a solution to thinking, but I now that you mention it, it's rather obvious.
I love light bulb moments. And you give me a regular supply of them.
Sometimes I think I "think" entirely too much.
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving me something to THINK about. Your posts have a habit of doing that. :)
Fondly, Sky
I can so relate. I've been working on meditation and mindfulness and finding it nearly impossible because of the noisy brain. Good luck with your "doing" and hope it quiets things down for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone, i appreciate it. I feel like i'm coming around. I'll be back to navel gazing soon i imagine.
ReplyDeleteI'm also a thinker, and I've discovered that it's for the most part useless. Whatever is meant to happen will happen, no matter how much I think and plan otherwise. That doesn't mean I don't still over-think everything though!
ReplyDeletethanks t1klish. in this case it really was screwing things up.
